The New Jersey Association of Cytology is a professional non-profit
organization of Pathologists, Cytotechnologists and other Physicians,
Residents and Students with an interest in the theory and practice
of Diagnostic Cytology. The organization sponsors lectures and a
summer weekend workshop/seminar each year in the state of New Jersey.
The Association stands for, and will strive to promote, high ethical
standards in the practice of cytology. It proposes to increase competence
and interest through its continuing education activities and communications
with its regional members.
The NJAC is enrolled with the American Society of Clinical Pathologists'
Continuing Medical Laboratory Education Program and is authorized
to grant continuing medical laboratory education credits for participants
in the educational activities conducted by the Association for the
benefit of its members.
